The Rhythms of Life

❖❖❖

As the weather gets cooler, the breezes have lured me outside more often than I have done in the past few months. I'm so anticipating fall! These long, hot summers down here in the South (this year particularly) have really made me appreciate the beginning breaths of autumn weather.

The grass is still lush and green...

but look at this lovely little guarantee of the coming autumn - I was so excited when I saw this!

❖❖❖

Life has been moving in a quiet rhythm, of late. Nothing monumental, but just the homely duties and joys of everyday life... and a little bit of waiting, too. Waiting to see what the Lord desires for me to do, and what the next step in life is, now that I've graduated. Sometimes I get a little fidgety, and want to know now what is in store for the future, but I comfort myself with the fact that, "He [the Lord] knows the way I take." Job 23:10

Snapshots of my days
or, what I've been doing with myself...
      Whipping up Sunday Morning breakfasts...

Jammin' with Mike, and learning new songs...

Perusing country decorating books...

Sitting on the dock and enjoying the lovely vista...

Capturing the beauty of  gorgeous sunsets...

And enjoying home.

Your home looks cozy! I am sure you are snug as a bug now that cold weather has come...
